Bears Ship CB Wesley to the Pats

The Bears were set to release cornerback Dante Wesley, but instead found themselves a trading partner to take him off their hands. The team shipped Wesley to the New England Patriots Tuesday, in exchange for an undisclosed 2008 draft pick. Wesley played in 13 games with the Bears last season, notching 13 special teams tackles and two defensive stops. The Bears also claimed fullback Quadtrine Hill off waivers from the Pats.
