Bears WR Bradley Looking for More Playing Time

Bears wide out Mark Bradley is talking through the media, lobbying for more playing time as the Bears get set for Sunday’s matchup with the KC Chiefs at Soldier Field.  Bradley was a non-factor in last weeks 14-3 loss to the Chargers, as he ended up making it on the field for just four plays.  Now he says he is healthy, ready to go, and would like to be more involved.  “I would like to get a lot more snaps than I did in the last game,” Bradley said. “I know what my role is. I got four snaps [against San Diego]. I’m looking forward to that increasing this week. Let’s just see what happens this week with the new packages. But, no, I’m not frustrated.”

The wide out suffered from a sore left knee and last season missed five games with an ankle injury and two years ago was out for almost half the year with a ACL tear in his right knee.  Now he is stating that he’s both healthy and would like a shot to show what he can do when 100 percent.  “There wasn’t anything said to me about there being a concern, health-wise,” Bradley stated. “I missed a little bit of the training camp going into the preseason. But once a person gets healthy, [you] give a guy time to go out there and interact. No doubt I’m worthy,” he said. “I wasn’t named the starter my rookie year for nothing.”
