Tait Leaves Game with High Ankle Sprain

Another loss, and yet another injury for the slumping Bears, who at this rate might be lucky to win 6 games this season.  The latest injury is to left tackle John Tait, who was injured on the second play of the third quarter of Sunday’s 37-27 loss to Detroit. Tait suffered what is being called a high ankle sprain, and it was decided he could not return after the training staff taped up the ankle and he tested it on the sideline.  John St.Clair took Tait’s spot in the lineup.  ”They’ve got me in this [boot] as a precaution,” Tait said. ”This looks a lot worse than it is.”  No word on if Tait will be able to go vs the Packers Sunday night in Green Bay.
