Walker to Miss Vikings Game with Knee Sprain

It appears that a knee sprain is going to keep Bears defensive tackle Darwin Walker out of the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings. Walker sprained his left knee in Sunday’s 27-20 win over the Packers in the first half when he was upended following a cut block by Packers RB Vernand Morency. Walker was unable to return to the contest and by the time the final gun sounded he was in street clothes.

Right now as practice for Sunday begins today, Anthony Adams is the likely player to take the spot of Walker. Another player that might see more action with the Walker injury is Israel Idonije. Walker had played well since becoming a starter after Dusty Dvoracek went down with a knee injury that ended his season back in the week one loss to the Chargers.
