Despite Being on the Practice Field; Vasher Likely to Miss 5th Straight
Posted by Matt Loede on October 27th, 2007 filed in NewsIt looks as if the Bears got some good news and bad news on Friday at their practice session. Cornerback Nathan Vasher took part in the teams practice session, but from all indications it looks as if he will not be able to go tomorrow when the team takes on the pass-happy Detroit Lions at Soldier Field. The Bears have Vasher listed as questionable on the teams injury report, and he took part in just some of the practice session. If Vasher does not play, it will be the fifth straight game he misses. ”I definitely want to be out there,” Vasher said. ”I can’t let this opportunity pass me by, especially against this group of wide receivers. And this is just a big game for us. I will be lobbying to be out there.” It looks more likely that he will get the day off, then the team has the bye week and he can be ready to go when the team plays in Oakland on November 11th.
