Guard Brown Placed on Injured Reserve

The Bears have lost guard Ruben Brown for the season after placing the nine-time Pro Bowler on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.  Brown has started in 45 games since joining the Bears in 2004, including the last 32 straight.  Guard Anthony Oakley has been elevated to the 53-man roster from the practice squad to take Brown’s roster spot.
