Robbie Gould was as good as gold, splitting the uprights from 39 yards out in overtime as the Bears rallied from a 14-point fourth quarter deficit to beat the Broncos 37-34 at Soldier Field. Rex Grossman threw for 193 yards, including a 3-yard touchdown to Bernard Berrian on fourth down with 28 seconds left to force overtime, as Chicago improved to 5-and-6 on the year. Devin Hester returned a 75-yard punt, and an 88-yard kickoff for touchdowns, becoming only the second player since 1970 to return both a kickoff and a punt for scores in the same game. Adrian Peterson rushed for 45 yards and a score in place of Cedric Benson, who left in the first quarter with an ankle injury and did not return. Jay Cutler threw for 302 yards and two scores for the Broncos. The loss drops Denver to 5-and-6 and out of first-place in the AFC West. Andre Hall rushed for 98 yards and a score, and Brandon Marshall had four catches for 97 yards and a TD in the setback.
