The Bears will try to reach the .500 mark and keep their playoff hopes alive this Sunday at Soldier Field against the New York Giants. The Bears go into Sunday’s 3:15 p.m. contest on the heels of last weekend’s dramatic, 37-34 overtime win over the Denver Broncos at Soldier Field. Devin Hester led the Bears last week, returning a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns. The Bears will have Adrian Peterson as their starting running back this week in place of Cedric Benson, who hurt his ankle last week against the Broncos and is now out for the season. The Bears are 5-and-6 on the season and likely need to win all five of their remaining games to reach the postseason. The Giants come into Sunday’s game with a record of 7-and-4.
