Urlacher Not Among Bear Pro Bowlers
Posted by Matt Loede on December 19th, 2007 in News
For the first time in his pro career, Brian Urlacher will miss the Pro Bowl. The linebacker was not on the list of all-star selections released by the NFL yesterday. Fellow linebacker Lance Briggs makes his third appearance on the NFC roster, as does defensive tackle Tommie Harris. Kick returner Devin Hester and kick coverage specialist Brendon Ayanbadejo will both make their second trips to Hawaii. Also missing from the roster is perennial Pro Bowl center Olin Kreutz, who had been to six straight all-star games.

I don’t know who the heck casts votes but they sure haven’t been watching all the games! Granted Hester is in and that should be a given. But for a multiple year pro-bowler to not make it…that’s crap!
