Expert Columnist Eric Cook’s Draft Projections Chicago Bears Three Round Mock Draft:

1st Round (14th Overall) Chris Williams, OT Vanderbilt (6′6”, 315) - Whether Otah is on/off the board, I still like Williams better, plus he is smarter with a Wonderlic score of 32. Besides, Williams has allowed just two quarterback sacks over the course of his last 1,558 snaps during College ball, grueling it out in the ultra-tough and competitive SEC conference. Bears need to shore up OL with their first pick ahead of RB.

2nd Round (#44) Brian Brohm, QB Louisville
(6′4”, 228) - He shouldn’t be here but if he is it’s a lock. More likely Bears end up taking Joe Flacco, QB Delaware or Chad Henne, QB Michigan.

3rd ROUND (#70) Roy Schuening, OG Oregon St (6′4”, 317) or Eric Young, OG Tennessee (6′4”, 310) - Assuming that Chilo Racal out of USC is already off the board. Bears O-Line needs upgrades, these guys at least add depth, if not push for a starting spot.

3rd Round (#90) Chris Johnson, RB East Carolina (5′11”, 197 - Speed: 4.24 40-time) Bears need competition for Benson and Adrian Peterson is tough and plays hard but he needs to someone to share the load with. Ray Rice of Rutgers, Matt Forte of Tualne, or Tashard Choice of Georgia Tech also would be good picks here as well, being solid options at the RB position. The lightning-quick Johnson sped past Boise State in the Hawaii Bowl, motoring by for 223 yards on the ground (28 carries), making his way to the end zone on 4 occasions, including one trip in which he received the ball.
