I can only assume that Earl Bennett would more than likely have not been drafted by the Bears if it was not for the intense scouting of teammate Chris Williams. In Bennett we get a guy that runs sharp and precise routes which enables him to separate from defenders. There are many scouts drawing comparisons to Hines Ward of Pittsburgh because of his ability to make tough catches in traffic.

After watching some tape on Earl Bennett, he is tough as nails with average speed for a receiver on the NFL level but still manages to make plays. Proof of his difference making ability is the fact that he has the SEC record for career receptions despite being double teamed most of the last 2 years.

My personal opinion is Earl Bennett will make an immediate impact as a rookie and will develop into a decent pro receiver.
