Remember how he struggled to assure teams he was no Ricky Williams? Don't we wish he was Ricky Williams? Not only did Ricky run for over 1000 yards in 5 of his first 6 years, but I'd sure rather have an introspective weed smoker for a neighbor than a violent drunk like Benson. And you can tell from his post-arrest comments that Benson has absolutely no recognition that he has a problem (other than his pathetic attempt to suggest the police were abusing him). Good god, Jerry Angelo, admit you missed the mark with that 4th pick in the 2005 draft, dump him and move on. Can you guys believe they gave away Thomas Jones to get more snaps for Benson? Here's Thomas Jones' career highlights from the Jet's website:

? Rushed for more than 1,000 yards in last three seasons, including 1,119 rushing yards (10th in the NFL) in 2007, his first with Jets.

? Ranks 59th on NFL's all-time rushing list with 6,503 yards.

? Owns 20 career 100-yard rushing games in regular season plus two more in playoffs.

? Posted career-high 1,335 rushing yards in 2005 to join Walter Payton as only CHI players to surpass 1,300 rushing yards in season.

? Ran for back-to-back 100 yard games at Meadowlands vs. NYG and NYJ in 2006.

? In 2004 became first CHI player since Neal Anderson (1989) to lead the team in both rushing yards and receptions.
