The Bears are looking to get Kyle Orton back on the field Sunday for the huge matchup against the Packers Sunday, and today in practice he was limited, but sounds like he’ll do whatever it takes to get on the field for the big game. “This is what you play for, play Green Bay, play your division rivals in November,” Orton said. “We’re in first place. These are huge games from here on out. This is what I put the effort in for so I am going to do everything I can to be out there.”
Rex Grossman took most of the first-team snaps on Wednesday, but after his lackluster outing vs the Titans on Sunday, the team could really use a lift with Orton back in the lineup. Orton’s availability for the contest could come down to Sunday, as it will likely be a game-time decision. Here’s hoping that the ankle gets better between now and kickoff.
