Vasher Out for Sunday’s Game vs Vikings w/ Thumb Injury
Posted by Matt Loede on November 26th, 2008 in Injury Report, News
The Bears will be without DB Nathan Vasher for Sunday’s big showdown vs the Vikings as the teams meet for first in the NFC North. Vasher was injured during Sunday’s blowout win vs the Rams on the road, as he reinjured his thumb, which was hurt earlier this season. He already had missed three games this year with an injury to his right wrist and thumb. “Right now all I can say he is out. He’s not playing this week,” coach Lovie Smith said. “Whenever you have a fracture, you reinjure the same hand you had trouble with, you can go from there. Right now, I just know he’s out this week.” Corey Graham is likely to take Vasher’s place in the lineup Sunday evening.
