The Bears have paid $265,000 to resolve a claim that a 2004 neck injury ended Jerry Azumah’s career. Azumah was a Pro Bowl kick returner and cornerback for the Bears before they drafted Devin Hester. Azumah is now an NFL studio analyst for Comcast SportsNet. Also, former Bears lineman Rex Tucker was paid $125,000 by the Bears to resolve the claims of injuries to his ankle and elbow between 2002-04. Tucker went on to play three more seasons for the Rams and Lions. Both Azumah and Tucker are represented by Chicago attorney Gil Gordon.
