Posted in More talk about the Bears makin a run at Kurt Warner this offseason, and today’s Chicago Tribune has another tidbit about the team possibly having to give him a three-year deal to make the move to the Windy City:
If the Bears are interested in quarterback Kurt Warner, they should be prepared to offer a three-year deal for the Cardinals’ 37-year-old free-agent-to-be. “He wants to play another two or three years,” said Mark Bartelstein, Warner’s Chicago-based agent. “He’s only going to want to play as long as he can continue to play at a high level.”

I dont think Kurt would exceed as much is Chicago. We dont have a Larry Fitzgerald or even Anquan Boldin caliber WR. I would like to see them go after TJ Houzyourdaddy. Hester and Olsen are not enough weapons to convince a veteran QB with only a couple years left to win to come to Chicago. If the Bears want to go after Warner or even McNabb they should adress the weak WR position with a proven veteran like TJ.
