Could the Bears Make a Run at WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh?

The Bears need some upgrades at the wide out spot, and one big player that could be a target of the team would be receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh. Wednesday he was on the Waddle and Silvy show on WMVP-AM 1000 on Wednesday. T.J. has spoken to a couple of different stations around the country about coming to town to be a member of their team once he is a free agent, and commented about the chance to come to play for the Bears “Yeah, they have to be interested first. If you worked in the front office, or you were a tight end, we could really talk, but I don’t know how much that’s going to do for me to say I’m interested or I’m not interested.”

The only thing I think he is interested in is driving up the price. He said on another station he is interested in playing for the Eagles.

Besides I don’t think he would be worth the money they would have to shell out. He would be more of a slot guy and I think that area gets crowded when you have two good receiving TE’s. Especially when they like to play in that formation alot.

So get someone that can stretch the feild and pull the safties back off the line.
