There’s been a lot of talk about the Bears and the QB spot as of late, and today there is more talk, as the Chicago Tribune talks about the team taking a look at Chris Simms, who wants to come to the Windy City and be a part of the Bears:

Chris Simms thinks a union between him and the Bears now isn’t such a farfetched idea despite speculation that he favors re-signing with his current team, Tennessee. “Who wouldn’t be interested or thinking about the Chicago Bears?” Simms posed. “For a guy like myself who has been around football a long time and loves tradition and all the stuff that comes with a great NFL franchise, the Bears are at the top of the list with the Green Bay Packers, the New York Giants, the Dallas Cowboys. They are right in that storied-franchise mix.”
