The Chicago Tribune is reporting that the Bears have made an offer for a contract to OT John St.Clair. Here is the report from earlier today:
The Bears made a contract offer to John St. Clair within the last 48 hours, hoping not to lose the offensive tackle to free agency beginning Thursday night at 11:01 p.m. Chicago time. Financial terms discussed were not disclosed. While St. Clair wants a five-year deal, he would consider settling for the three-year deal the Bears are believed to have offered.
