
Reports say that the Bears have released veteran reserve offensive guard Terrence Metcalf. He’s a former third-round draft pick, and played with the team for seven seasons. The former Ole Miss standout played in six games last season. In 84 career games, Metcalf has 25 starts. In 2005, the 6-foot-4, 310-pounder started a career-high 13 games.
