Tillman Says That He’ll Be Ready to go for the Season

Vaughn McClure of the Chicago Tribune talks about Charles Tillman, who says he’ll be ready to go for the season after back surgery:

The panic surrounding the injury status of Bears starting cornerback Charles Tillman might die down a little bit if Tillman’s comments truly reflect how he’s feeling.

Tillman Tillman, who will be sidelined for the start of training camp following back surgery, told ChicagoBears.com the outlook is good for the season opener at Green Bay, Sept. 13.

“I’ll be fine for the season,” Tillman told the Web site, speaking Tuesday from Halas Hall. “There’s no need to panic. When I panic, then you can panic. But I’m not panicking, so we’re good.
