Short Stint; Bears Release CB Hood Just Three Days After Signing Him

Just in case you were wondering, the Rod Hood era in Chicago has come to a sudden end. The Bears Friday released the cornerback, just a few hours after he struggled in the teams final preseason game, playing poorly against his old team – the Browns.

Cleveland must have been on to something, as they released him on Monday, meaning that with the release on Friday he’s now been cut twice in five days. Despite the Bears issues at corner, Hood was simply not good enough to be kept on the roster.
