The Bears defense. Have they taken a step forward or a step back? We'll find out on Sunday night. Chicago was fortuitous at best, last December, to beat Green Bay at Soldier Field in overtime, as they were thoroughly outplayed for about 90% of the game. Special teams were the difference in that game. Not defense. Chicago had best hope for improvement from their mediocre defense of 2008. If not, this game could be over by halftime.
