This is an update to Matt Loede’s report on Chicago Bears’ linebacker Brian Urlacher leaving the Chicago Bears-Green Bay Packers game on Sunday. As if the Chicago Bears have enough problems – and it’s only Week 1! – it looks like their linebacking corps has taken a major hit as Adam Schefter is reporting that star linebacker Brian Urlacher will not play again this season due to a dislocated wrist.
According to unnamed sources, Urlacher will undergo surgery when the team returns to Chicago; it really was unclear as to when Urlacher injured his wrist, but he did leave the game after the Bears’ first series against the Green Bay Packers Sunday.
