Hester Says He’ll Be Ready for the Falcons

The Chicago Sun-Times says that Devin Hester says he’ll be ready to go for the Falcons in two weeks:

As if the neck brace he left Soldier Field wearing on Sunday wasn’t a big enough giveaway, Devin Hester moved to clear up further confusion about what body part he injured when he made an early departure from the victory over the Detroit Lions. Hester suffered a strained neck when he was crunched by Lions defensive backs Louis Delmas and William James early in the second quarter. He sat out practice Wednesday at Halas Hall but vowed to be back for the Oct. 18 game at Atlanta after the bye week. Meanwhile, wide receiver Johnny Knox was back on the field three days after leaving the game with a shin injury.
