Bears Interview Mike DeBord For Tight End Coaching Job

The Chicago Tribune reports the team is talking to Mike DeBord about being the teams next TE coach:

The team announced that Lovie Smith met with Mike DeBord about being the team’s next tight ends coach. DeBord was the tight ends coach in Seattle last season working with John Carlson, who led the team with seven touchdown receptions. He served as the assistant offensive line coach for the Seahawks in 2008.

    Great choice for the job. Mike De Bord knows football very well; he was a great recruiter for college football, dedicated to the sport, played in highschool and at the college level. Anyone who criticizes the choice should have played football and coached any sport at this level; then you can have an opinion. Thanks.
