Fan memories of the 1985 Super Bowl Champion Bears

What’s your favorite memory of the ’85 Super Bowl champion Bears?

Mine is an image of the late, great Walter Payton playfully hugging the Punky QB on the sidelines in the final moments of Super Bowl XX…this after Payton was passed over for a chance to score a TD when Ditka called the Fridge’s number on a goaline play.

Too young to remember the Fridge, Sackman and Mama’s Boy Otis? Then check out some real-life, honest-to-goodness Bears fans who recently shared their memories of the Ditka-led Monsters of the Midway.

This video montage was produced by Allstate and will be featured as part of Allstate Glory Days, an ’85 Bears tribute event featuring Mike Ditka, Jim McMahon, and other Bears legends at the Arie Crown Theatre on Nov. 5th.
