Felony Charges Dropped Against Ex-Bears RB Wolfe

Former Bears running back Garrett Wolfe no longer faces felony charges stemming from his May 22nd arrest at a Miami Beach, Florida, nightclub according to Vaughn McClure of the Chicago Tribune.

Wolfe originally was charged with retail theft, disorderly conduct, assault of a police officer and resisting an officer with violence after authorities said he refused to pay a bar tab of nearly $1,600 at Cameo.

Wolfe’s arraignment was Tuesday morning, although he did not have to appear.

A representative from the Miami-Dade circuit clerk’s office said felony charges were not filed in the case. Christopher Lyons, Wolfe’s defense attorney, confirmed the news.
