Reports Says Bears Not Interested in Burress

On Tuesday Plaxico Burress said that the Bears are one of the top three teams he is considering signing with once the NFL labor woes are resolved.

Chicago Tribune beat writer Vaughn McClure reports that the Bears aren’t interested in Plaxico’s services. It’s “not happening,” says beat writer Vaughn McClure.

“No matter how much he adores them.” The Bears reportedly came to this conclusion after doing “extensive research” on Burress before he went to prison two years ago. That stance hasn’t changed since, even if Plax is willing to sign on the cheap.

Stupid. Plax would be great addition for the right price. How come no talk about Steve Smith. He is exactly kind of reciever Martz likes and dude has a attitude and wants to win. Remember when he beat Ken Lucas ass in practise. Reminded me of Kruetz breaking Millers jaw. Btw Kruetz has broke a few peoples jaws. I love players with attitude.

If we can get Steve Smith…forget about Santonio Holmes or Santana Moss. I want a receiver that fits Martz’s system; first and foremost.

    My List:

    1. Smith
    2. Holmes
    3. S.Moss
    4. the field
