DT Marcus Harrison Overweight, Can’t Practice

It appears that defensive tackle Marcus Harrison, indulged a little too much during the lockout and put on the extra pounds. He weighs in at a large 327 pounds, 11 pounds too heavy. He has failed his physical twice and now is not allowed to workout or practice with the team.

Not arriving in shape to camp has been common occurrence for Harrison. Last year I asked the young defensive tackle why he has had such a problem staying fit and his response made me chuckle,” Weight Watchers just isn’t working, man”

If Marcus Harrison has any desire to play for the Bears, he should be a little more serious and be a little more committed. Even if that means sticking to Weight Watchers.  Hopefully, he will get it together soon and be back on the practice field.
