Super Bowl XLI: Not A Good Memory For Bears Fans

Another candidate in the running to start at cornerback?

Free agent cornerback Kelvin Hayden is expected to see the Bears on Monday, according to an NFL source.

Hayden, a Chicago-native who attended Illinois, is mostly remembered for burning the Bears in Super Bowl XLI with a game-clinching fourth-quarter interception return for touchdown.

The six-foot, 195-pound defensive back started 11 games for Indianapolis last season, yet finished the year on injured reserve with a neck injury.

The transition for Hayden could be smooth, as he played in a similar Cover-2 scheme with the Colts.

My thought process on this situation is plain and simple: drop one ex-Colt corner (Jennings) in order to make room for another ex-Colt corner (Hayden).
