Briggs, Adams May Miss Remainder Of Preseason; Bowman Aiming For Titans

Two Important Pieces Defending Run

Bears linebacker Lance Briggs (knee) and defensive tackle Anthony Adams (calf) will not be in action Saturday against the Titans, and could sit out the rest of the preseason for precautionary reasons, according to coach Lovie Smith.

Cornerback Zack Bowman returned to practice after experiencing a minor concussion in the team’s preseason opener on August 13.  Smith believes Bowman will be ready to go in Tennessee this weekend:

“He was good to go,” Smith said about Bowman. “He had an excellent practice. He’s fresh and ready to go.”

Hurd hurt: Wide receiver Sam Hurd was sporting a walking boot on his right leg.  Is it safe to say, wideout Dane Sanzenbacher is a lock to make the final 53-man roster?

Roy Williams better step it up Saturday. Out of shape and denying that he had a dropped pass. Dude makes excuses. Knox comes bulked up and wants to play all the time. He has made nice catches and nice returns. Makes you wonder how did he lose his spot? Sanzenbacher and Bennett are hidden gems in our recieving corps. Gonna make lots of plays and stay under the radar

Knox should get his starting job back. I’ve never herd an NFL receiver admit he’s out of shape. What the Hell are they paying him for?????????
