Desmond Clark Knee Injury Not Serious

Old Reliable Dez

Some thought his career was done with the Bears.

Third-string tight end Desmond Clark revealed the knee injury he suffered in Saturday’s preseason gathering with the Titans wasn’t as bad as it looked to be, posting on Twitter that he’s sure he will return soon.

Clark exited the field on a cart in the fourth quarter after taking a vicious hit to the left kneefrom Titans safety Anthony Smith while attempting to make a reception.  On Sunday, he tweeted, “Took quite a shot out there but feeling confident I’ll be ok and back on the field soon.”

With Kellen Davis nursing a sore back, Clark, despite the recent knee situation, will likely make the final 53-man cut.

When you think he’s gone, Des keeps coming back.
