Free agent linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa will work out for the Bears on Wednesday, a pair of sources told Vaughn McClure of the Chicago Tribune.
The 30-year-old linebacker has spent the last two seasons with the Bears, with each go-around coming on a one-year contract. Tinoisamoa missed all but two contests during his first season with the Bears before starting 10 of 12 games in 2010, registering 40 stops and one sack.
The former Bear underwent major reconstructive knee surgery after last season. If healthy, the Bears are expected to ink Tinoisamoa to a one-year contract.
A 2003 second round selection out of Hawaii by the Rams, Tinoisamoa had 445 tackles 10 quarterback sacks and seven picks in his first six pro seasons before he was cut for money issues in 2009.
