Bears wide receiver Earl Bennett, who was fined $10,000 last week for wearing orange shoes, has been told he will not be allowed on the field if he wears the shoes again, a league source told ESPN’s Chris Mortensen.
Last Sunday against the Lions was Bennett’s second uniform violation for wearing the shoes.
He told ESPN 1000 earlier this week that he had heard the fine would continue to increase and “after that I’ve heard that they are going to call delay of game and maybe kick me out of the game.”
