Source: Forte has a sprained MCL

Bears running back Matt Forte is believed to have a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee, Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Forte will undergo further testing to determine the severity of the injury, which occurred in the first quarter of the Bears’ 10-3 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday.

Recovery time for a sprained MCL can vary between two and four weeks.
