Christmas Day Bears Packers Rivalry Game

Ahhh, the time has come that us football fans (ESPCIALLY Bears fans) have all been waiting for. The Bears-Packers rivalry game. It happens to fall on the day that the majority of the United States has been preparing over the last 2 months for – Christmas Day. What’s better than that? The best game of the year falls on the best day of the year. Bears vs Packers tickets are some of the most sought after sports tickets each year. The fact that this year the rivalry made it to the elite Christmas Day spot on national television means that most of the households in America will have at least one room packed with the sports fans of the family, beers, cozy spots on the couch, and the Bears Packers game on. This also means that the stadium will be packed full of families and friends, all out to spend the Holidays together watching the greatest rivalry in NFL.

Let’s take a look at the last 10 Bears-Packers rivalry games, just for kicks.

October 7, 2007 – Chicago Bears win 27-20
December 23, 2007 – Chicago Bears win 35-7
November 16, 2008 – Green Bay Packers win 37-3
December 22, 2008 – Chicago Bears win 20-17
September 13, 2009 – Green Bay Packers win 21-15
December 13, 2009 – Green Bay Packers win 21-14
September 27, 2010 – Chicago Bears win 20-17
January 2, 2011 – Green Bay Packers win 10-3
January 23, 2011 – Green Bay Packers win 21-14
September 25, 2011 – Green Bay Packers win 27-17

Over the last 10 games, the Bears have won 4 and the Packers have won 6, as you can see. The Chicago Bears are looking to put a stop to the Packers’ 13-game winning streak for this season on Christmas Day and on Green Bay’s turf. Most football fans say this would be a miracle, since the Packers are currently ranked #1 and the Bears #17, but I believe that if any team is up for the challenge, who wants that win more than anything else, it would be the Chicago Bears.

Keep your eyes on the game this Christmas day. Whether you are at the stadium watching the action LIVE, or if you are watching from your favorite spot on the couch with a full belly and beer in hand, it’s going to be a game worth watching. Happy Holidays and game on!

I will definitely be one of those fans sitting on the couch with a full belly and beer in hand. Really looking forward to the game between Bears and Packers. Regardless of past wins/scoring this is anybody’s game. Just remember the players who eat the most turkey beforehand will be sleepy (gotta avoid the turkey enzymes). Thanks guys for sharing this special day with us football fans. Good luck and Merry Christmas!
