Forte, idonije, graham. Let the rest walk. Definetly Need wr, te, cb via draft or free agency. Lb, DE, LT also needs. A legit back up for forte would be awesome too. Dwayne bowe and draft wr 1st rnd. That changes offense dramatically. That with A nice big TE who can catch and bears offense would be scary. Defense was ok last year, a stud CB and DE maybe a LB would put them back near the top.

  2. Bob says:

Okoye, Jennings, steltz okay if cheap for depth. Others not impressive.

Bell is a legit backup for Forte. I was even impressed with Barber, too.

Bowe would be a luxury, but I wouldn’t get him and then spend a 1st rounder on a WR.

I really like Baylor’s Kendall Wright, despite his lack of height.

Jennings would be smart to retain.

I hope we go CB or DE with the first pick, unless a really good tackle slips. Secondary, both lines, receivers.

Bell and barber 5-6 fumbles in last few games? Plus barber bad out of bounds play vs broncos. Idk? Bell I guess if cheap. Not top priority but it would be nice to have another scary fb.
Cb or safety, I like via free agency, seems learning curve tougher at this position. Janoris jenkins, dre kirk, barron all appealing tho and wouldnt be upset with any of those. Kinda rather have someone with some experience. Grimes, Brandon Carr, finnegan, Carlos Rodgers would all be more proven upgrades. Once again Jennings ok if cheap. We are losing a few db’s this year so…decisions gotta be made there.
D-line upshaw or Coples, donta Hightower at lb lots of sexy front 7 defensive picks are available and wouldn’t be upset with any of those either. Mario Williams! Cliff avrill, Calais Campbell, tulloch, ruud. So proven vets out there too. Resign izzy tho he is solid just not spectacular.
Offensive line ? Tough to judge. Webb seems like the week link. I could see a line shift with carimi moving to LT and lance Louis RT, Chris Williams was solid when healthy and Chris spencer looked decent as well. 3 first rnd picks named there. Garza got extension. 1st rnd again? I don’t really like it, maybe Mike Adams or Cordy Glenn but seems like a slight stretch. 2nd rnd I would be ok with a solid O-line prospect. I understand the need but I want a player that will have immediate impact.
That leaves Wr and top prospect gonna be 1st round or early second. I like quite a few Wr in the draft. Floyd, jefferey, wright. Might wanna go back to wr in 3rd rnd too. We will get a playmaker for sure if we spend first rnd on Wr. This pick will also just add excitement, squash our draft haters for not picking high end wide receiver in forever. Plus cutler needs new tools, young tools. Bennett possession guy that’s honestly all I see. Roy better be gone. Hester is a kick returner! Knox not elite and not sure on recovery physically as well as mentally. Don’t want back breaking flashbacks holding back his performance mentally. Draft a Wr who will
be a number one. Add dbowe or v.jackson, reggie wayne, etc if we can via free agency to allow rookie to blossom.
I guess my argument is for a legit Wr or stud defensive player in first rnd. Biggest impact right away.
Damn forgot we need a Te too, hope we make that Greg Olsen trade count for something.
