The Chicago Bears landed the first big move in free agency, as a team that has been in need of a big play WR got one on the first day, making a deal with Miami for Brandon Marshall.
Jay Glazer of FoxSports.com reports that the Bears gave the Dolphins a pair of third-round picks in exchange for the services of Marshall, who was the MVP of the Pro Bowl in January.
The move puts Marshall back with former Broncos teammate QB Jay Cutler, whom he had some of his biggest seasons with back when the pair was in Denver.
In 2007 and 2008, Marshall recorded 206 receptions for 2,590 yards and 13 touchdowns while the two played together.
The Dolphins gave up two second-round picks in 2010 to get Marshall from the Broncos, and now just two years later he is gone for a pair of thirds to Chicago.
