Bears Re-Sign TE Davis To Two-Year Deal

The Bears have decided to keep their starting tight end Kellen Davis — after other teams were seeking his services.

The 6-foot-7, 267-pound fifth-round draft pick in 2008 has signed a two-year deal to remain in Chicago. He caught 18 passes for 206 yards last season, making a team-high five touchdown receptions.

The Bears have deemed Davis as a blocker and seem confident he can expand his game as a multi-dimensional performer.
