The Bears have signed former Jaguars defensive tackle Nate Collins to a one-year contract according to Aaron Wilson of Profootball.scout.com.
Collins previously visited the Seattle Seahawks. Collins was with Jaguars before they removed their qualifying offer.
Collins, 24, is a 6-foot-2, 296-pound former University of Virginia player who had 10 tackles and a half-sack in 12 games last season.
Collins is facing a single charge of possession of marijuana in Virginia.
