Week two kicks off with a bang, as the Packers host the Bears in a huge week two NFC North showdown. The Pack lost to the Niners last week, while the Bears took down the Colts.
The Pack looked totally out of sync in their loss to the Niners, as the SF defense did a solid job in holding Aaron Rogers and the Packers offense in check most of the day.
Rodgers threw for 303 yards and two touchdowns, but he also had a key interception in the fourth quarter, and with WR Greg Jennings ailing with a knee injury, the Bears D will look to make it a long night again for the Packers offense.
Green Bay simply needs to be more even on offense, as their run game Sunday was nowhere to be found. New running back Cedric Benson, a former No. 4 overall draft pick by Chicago, managed just 18 yards on nine carries, while the 49ers rolled up 186 yards on the ground – 5.8 per carry – for the league’s second-highest Week 1 total.
