Former Bear Tommie Harris was arrested in Wrigleyville overnight and charged with indecent exposure and threatening a police officer.
Harris was arrested in the 1000 block of West Eddy Street shortly before midnight, according to Police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan.
He was charged with misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure, urinating in public and simple assault. The simple assault charge was for threatening an officer, Sullivan said.
Harris, a former No. 1 draft pick of the Bears in 2004 out of Oklahoma, was a three-time Pro Bowl performer and a force in the middle of the defensive line for the 2006 Bears team that reached Super Bowl XLI. Slowed by knee and hamstring problems, he was released by the Bears in February 2011.
