Bears Agree To Terms With FA DE Turk McBride

The Bears and free agent defensive end Turk McBride agreed to a one-year deal on Tuesday, Jeff Dickerson of ESPN Chicago reports citing a source familiar with the situation.

McBride, who flew into Chicago on Monday and visited with the Bears on Tuesday before agreeing to the deal, is a six-year NFL veteran who has played with the Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints.

McBride, 27, played in just 15 games for the Saints the past two seasons with two sacks. He started eight games for the Lions in 2010 when he had a career-high 5.0 sacks.
