Bears rookie tackle Tayo Fabuluje was suspended four games by the NFL on Tuesday for a violation of its policy against performance-enhancing substances, Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Fabuluje, a sixth-round pick, was inactive for Monday’s 22-19 win over the San Diego Chargers. But he had been active for the previous four games — coinciding with Jermon Bushrod’s injuries — playing on the field-goal unit and in short-yardage and goal-line situations.
The suspension begins immediately.
Fabuluje is eligible to return on Monday, Dec. 7, following the Dec. 6 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
