Bears WR Alshon Jeffery Misses the End of Practice with Muscle Tightness

Alshon Jeffery

Alshon Jeffery was not able to finish practice on Wednesday according to coach John Fox due to muscle tightness. The coach stated that “It just got tight and we’re going to be cautious with that type stuff, especially in the hot weather.”

The good news is that Jeffery has been getting after it and according to quarterback Jay Cutler has looked very good thus far in camp after he missed OTA’s this last spring.

“I think the conditioning kind of caught up with [Jeffery] a little bit today,” Cuter stated. “The off day usually throws guys off a little bit, but he stated off fast today.”

The Bears need Jeffery to be healthy this season if the club wants any shot at competing in the NFC South. He’s a big part of the offense, and they can’t have him sitting and watching.

Don’t forget to get a bonus code when playing the NFL lines this season, all the action starts next week in the preseason with the regular season kicking off September 8th as the Broncos take on the Panthers.
