I agree that Plaxico would help. However, the Bears will probably go in a different direction and stay with what they have. They, by history, play better when an aspect of their team is perceived to be weak (i.e., weak QB, weak line, mediocre defense, etc…). I also feel that Cutler words will ring true about his relationship with Earl Bennett. I watched he and Bennett excel at Vandy when everybody in the stadium knew he was going to throw to him and they were still very productive.

I agree… these experts are almost never right. On top of that, they always seem to favor the East coast teams. I don’t want to be a homer but I would rank the Bears somewhere in the 5th-7th area. And The Texans are the “hot” team to pick now that the Cardinals actually lived up to the expectations. The best part about being a Bear fan is shoving the experts nose in it once the season begins.

I think the media has it out for Chicago to tell you the truth, even the super bowl year they thought we were a fluke and how in the world do the texans rank higher than us… i like looking back on first week power rankings on espn and than fast forward to week 16 hummmm the experts are usually never right…

That was the stupidest thing they could have done. The Bears didn’t even give him a chance after just a week. Come on. At least give him the time to prove he can be a factor to the team.

I heard Mike Ditka on the radio talking about an event he and Gale Sayers are playing in. Its a fan experience type event called the Sports Legends Challenge. Has anyone heard more about it?
