Rideau Stepping Up

I’ve always stood by the term “unproven” instead of “pedestrian” when discussing the Chicago Bears wide receivers. Beyond Devin Hester, the team is lacking a proven starting-caliber wide-out. In following training camp with Chicagobears.com, Twitter, and other media outlets there has been one name that is standing out on offense.

Vasher Placed on IR with Lingering Groin Injury

The Bears are out of the playoff race, and today the team placed corner Nathan Vasher on injured reserve, ending his season after he played in just four games.  Vasher had just nine tackles and a sack with a pick this season.  He has suffered from a lingering groin injury for most of the season.  [...]
