Graham had a Pro Bowl-caliber 2010 campaign
After swimming across the free agent waters, Corey Graham has sailed to shore, inking a new one-year contract with the Bears.
For a moment, it seemed like the New Hampshire product would sign elsewhere, as he generated interest from several teams during the free agency process.
After leading the team with 25 special teams tackles last season, keeping Graham was a top priority for the Bears and special teams coach Dave Toub.
Defensive option: It will be intriguing to see if Graham, who wants to find the field on defense, will earn playing time in the secondary this season. During his career, he has started a total of 10 contests at cornerback. He is likely to battle last year’s fifth round pick Joshua Moore (Kansas State) for the team’s last corner spot.
