Wise Investment For A Team Based On Speed
Speed kills.
Soldier Field officials say they’re cooperating with the Bears to ensure a new field is installed in preparation for the club’s September 11 home opener against the Atlanta Falcons according to the Chicago Tribune.
The Bears axed a practice earlier this month because the field’s turf was not in proper condition for the players. On Thursday, officials with Soldier Field said they’re planning with a vendor recommended by the team and an agronomist to implement a new natural grass field.
The field will be done over Labor Day weekend. Officials say it “will best suit the team and will ensure the players’ comfort.”
About time. Finally, we’ll receive the esteemed privilege to truly witness the “Windy City Flyer” fly!
